I first met Amanda in Los Angeles in a prenatal swim class. I’m pretty sure we became insta-friends once we both learned she was from Cincinnati and I from Louisville. We of course then bonded over the love of bourbon, southern accents and all!
After Amanda and I had our babies, we started having playdates, i.e. mommy dates. Our babies would lay and eww and ahh at each other while we talked about normal new moms things. (lack of sleep, baby not sleeping, how the babies rolled over for the first time, etc) Soon after Fiona was born she hired me as her family photographer. Every few months I have been lucky to document her beautiful daughter, Fiona’s life. It’s hard to believe she will be two next month.
Amanda and her husband Jeff have been such great friends and supportive of my family and my photography business. They are both two very talented working actors and also teach. You can learn more about about Amanda and Jeff by clicking on their names to view their work. It was a sad day when I announced to my friends that My family and I were moving to KY. Amanda, being from my neck of the woods lovingly said, “I get it buddy. Don’t you worry, we will see you when you are in town and when we are in Cincinnati.
Last month they were in Cincinnati to celebrate her Moms birthdays. They invited me up to do a family session. It was so fun to see where Amanda had grown up and meet the rest of her family. I hadn’t seen Fiona since last November, she has changed so much. She is an excellent talker, sweet and as beautiful as the day I met her back in Oct 2012.
I look forward to seeing you all for our November Holiday Session, in Los Angeles.
Lots of love to you all!
